Aftermarket F+R Sway Bars

Aftermarket F+R Sway Bars
I have a opportunity to buy brand new comptech front and rear sway bars for about $240 since I'm buying comptech axle back exhaust from the same company. Should I buy the comptech sway bars or go with a different brand like eibach or neuspeed? I'm looking for opinions and reviews.

i have the eibachs and no issues since i had them installed 4+yrs. def. tightened up the car. IIRC, all manufacturer have the same thickness for the front sways. it is the rear sways that have a slight difference in diameter. IMO, you can't go wrong with the CT's. especially if you can get a good deal for them.

Some would argue that the rear should be all you would need. I personally ran F+R and had run Eibach and Comptechs. Eibach rear are +1mm thicker (23 vs 22) over the Comptech.
If you are looking for just the rear, I have an Eibach RSB for sale.

comptech fsb and progress rsb....
best suspension mod u can get for the price.
make sure u do moog end links tho or else u may damage the oem links since they are weaksauce.
as a matter of fact the progress rsb was soo stiff that with the stock suspension on it ripped the end link out of it's mounting location to the wheel assembly. 2-3 times i cannot remember.
but now that i am lowered, the rsb doesn't have to keep the sway in line that much so no more braking those cheap 25$ parts.
front ct sway bar uses stock bushings as well so it's real easy install. and u can get it in without touching the exhaust, just turn it upside down and work it, u'll geter out for sure.

I dont know why but i think RSB is all you need it makes car go into turns just perfect compared to stock. If you go with FSB car might get a bit of understeer from what i heard. What i would do is that i'd get progress RSB since you got ability to adjust settings of stiffness

But you do NOTHING to help the front turn in better and to help get rid of the lean. RSB only only gives a false impression that the car is handeling so much better because it allows the rear of the car to come around, but it does nothing to really help the heavy front end. The front needs it more than the rear. If you have adjustable suspension You can dial in oversteer just as easily with that and tire pressure as you can a larger rear bar. I put just the rear on and went and did a session on a lapping day, while the rear became very happy to come out it didnt increase my lap times. Adding the front made the car much more neutral and took over 2 seconds off the lap time. ![2 Cents](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/2cents.gif)

i must say the front sway bar addition after the rear was very interesting...
without and sway upgrades at all the car was totally sloppy. then I got the rear sway and the car was nice and STABLE at high speed especially, but the rear was definitely tighter than the front, u could still notice front body roll. and after the ct front sway the car became completely neutral. body roll is virtually gone, especially now that i'm lowered.... living the dream

The aftermarket bars mentioned here are good/stiffer upgrades from stock, but one should consider the bushing stiffness as well. The problem I found w/ the Comptech is that they had switched to rubber bushings to cut down on possible squeaks. They were too soft and counterproductive to the stiffer bar.
I could have switched the bushings to stiffer polyurethane ones, but went to Progress 24mm rear as it was the thickest, had two different stiffness mountings, and came w/ poly bushings.
Making the front swaybar complex stiffer definitely improved turn-in response. Since the diameters are all the same I just switched out the stock rubber bushings for Energy Suspension bushings.
