fenders $100 pair
hood $200
headlights $200
front bumper/lip $200/ $200
grill $100
paint ?

$1000 without paint aint bad at all, especially to be different and i think the lines should be similar so it wouldnt look outta place..

Any thoughts?
has anyone done this?

Why? No offense to the TL guys but the CL front end is way better looking IMO.

Definitely dont put a TL front end on a CL. Its not going to be a easy mod either. The bumber , headlights and fenders might bult right on (but I doubt it) but the CL & TL have different body lines so they arent going to line up so it'll look stupid unless you do A TON of body work on it and thats gonna be a couple grand for paint and prep. Its not worth the money to do it your better off just buying a TL-S if thats what you want.

hmm, i thought it might line up okay, thats why i was thinking it.
obviously the cl is a bubble and the tl is edgy, but take that pointy front with a rounded ass and your golden...lol..just like a good woman, pointy front with a nice rounded ass...lol..
okay, well sounds like i pushed it a little too far for you guys this time...sorry for trying to be creative...

Its not that you are "taking it too far".

But this was asked in the past. The front radiator support is the biggest obstacle and its just too much work to get it done.

A local member is in the process of getting it done. It's in the shop still.

It is?? All the part numbers look the same on line
Only real different part # is the center brace that the hood latch bolts too, the 99-01 tl have a different one than the 02-03, but as far as all the frame work its all the same. Shouldnt be a issue other than body lines. That and im not sure if the cl and tl share the same shape to the front leading edge of the door.

Comparing PNs, the only parts that match are the upper and lower part of the bulkhead. The other parts dont match up.

I remember there was a member that grafted the lower portion of the TL bumper on the CL bumper. It was a white CL, I dont remember who owned it. Id be interested in seeing the TL front end on the CL, but its one of those swaps thats easy to make look like shit if you dont take your time matching the lines and grafting the parts together.

Youd probably have to cut the CL and TL fenders in half and graft them together so it matches properly at the door. Im not sure if the same is required for the hood.

It would make the TL lip kit install go much smoother though

Thats the one I mentioned above. Its white IIRC and the CL and TL bumpers were grafted together. The rest is all CL.

Local member just completed the modification. Looks very clean, the shop did a good job and the front end does look more aggressive to me. Looks a little weird cause its on a CL but it looks really good.

It doesnt look right to me. Maybe its the unpainted lip. But the edge of the hood where it meets the fender on the driver doesnt line up properly.

I need better pics before I form an opinion on it though. The pics are too close to the car to really take in the full shape.

I have never seen a build like this that I ever liked. It is just wasting money and time for nothing but to make it look worse. Good luck selling the car also. When I see these type of builds first thing that comes to mind is owners with bad taste. You should add some port holes on the side too.

I like the 2g TL. I like the 2g CL. I dont like the two fused together.

Saying the CL is just a 2 door TL is like me saying the first generation Odyssey is just the 5 door version of the Accord sedan. They share a platform, but they look nothing alike. Same goes for the Crosstour vs the 8th Accord sedan.

The TL is more angular, the CL is round. They dont match up. The grille looks too large and as I said earlier, the hood alignment with the driver fender near the windshield is off.
