I'm confused, 01-02 only, yet it's only for manual transmissions?

i think i posted about this awhile ago... basically you would be hand wiring in the harness as it will not be plug and plug. and even then, no one is known to be using it, so no one has any idea what controls and functions actually work, if it works.

Everything is pretty universal. I don't see why it would not work if wired properly. I've wired the AEM EMS into a few cars with no problems. As long as you know what your doing, or have someone familiar with it, it's not hard at all.

That was the only answer I was hoping for, thanks.

"AEM Acura 3.2L CL M/T Only 01-02 Performance; Plug & Play Programmable Engine Management System"
That just doesn't sit well with me.

Just remember, that each AEM EMS box is basically there universal box with the correct plug built into the box for your HARNESS. Hence Plug and Play. I tuned a car with a AEM Honda Box, but it was in a Turbo Toyota Tacoma. The box will work in any car as long as it is setup properly, most of the time it's just rewiring that is needed, and a good basemap. You gotta know what your doing obviously, but it isn't that hard to do if you research it right. With the AEM PDF files, rewiring is a breeze for most of their boxes for me.

AEM EMS's are all tuned for each specific vehicle.
