Additional Injection *PICS*
Additional Injection *PICS*
I got all the components together to finish the additional injector installation. It consists of a RC 750cc injector. Instead of using a hose-clamp to feed the injector, I got this injector-holder (pretty cool gadget) which acts as a mini fuel-rail. It is fed via an Earl's AN -4 steel-braided hose which I will tap from the main fuel line. Now the entire fuel system does not use hose-clamps etc. as that would be unreliable for fuel injection and unsafe. All that is remaining is welding it on... wiring it to the E-manage and more boost!!

I could have swore I saw one a while back which used straight pipe threads for the boss. That way you just drilled and tapped for the injector boss; no welding required.
But I looked and could not find it again. Maybe just in my head.

Well, the injector is installed - no leaks! This should be good for upto 600hp

Looking good...
Just finished wiring everything up - damn E-manage manual does not give the color-code for the subinjector wire?!? I checked elsewhere and its the white/red -
hope I am correct! I had to put a 7.5A fuse in-line to the +12V - I'll try it out tomorrow.

Wow... That is an awesome setup you have. I don't think anyone around here could even do the install for me if I wanted it. I've inquired about Turbo / SC, and the only thing I could even get and have installed was the Comptech SC, and that was going to run me about $6500

Looks cool man!! I like that setup. Just be careful with those boost controllers. Some of them can cause boost spikes for one reason or another on WRX's. Could just be the design of the turbo or something, I'm not sure. You have an external wastegate, I don't. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, though. Now I really wish I could be there to see your car. I would like to go for a ride in it.

(2) Removed the harness and checked for continuity from the E-manage plug to the wire
at the injector - YES
(3) Plugged everything in and tried it at idle - WORKS!
I kept the RPMs at 2K and the car was reading 14.4'ish and jumping around a bit. I put about 20% and it dropped to 11.1'ish. Then I added 40% at 5K upwards (6psi) and AFR dropped from the usual 11'ish range to 9.4 - so it works
Ran like shit at 9.4 though!
