I'd love to attend again. I don't have my Acura anymore, but during the non-competition portion, I'd love to run my Z with some of you for fun!

I'd be interested but could I bring my C32 instead of the Acura?Hopefully, I'll still have the C32 in March.

 

I might be there depending on the date, but it will be as a spectator only.
I did a few runs there last year and it was a blast, but I feel that the strip is a little too hard on a car that I rely on every day as a commuter car.

i've made about 80 runs down the strip, i dont think u have anything to worry about shawn, your cars arenot caddilacs i think they were meant to be driven hard, even like johntypes, matt g, and typeR have all made 100+ if not more passes down the 1/4

I understand what you’re saying, but I still say it’s hard on the car. Especially the CLUTCH of a 6-Speed.
I made about 10 runs last year and the only way I could get a half decent launch was to slip the clutch a bunch.
Otherwise I would just “sit & spin” or the front end would HOP-HOP-HOP like crazy.
I just don’t feel it’s good for the car.
I know what it’s capable of and I don’t need a little slip of paper to prove it.
I want the car and the original clutch to see 100K.

I'd be down. I'd push a little more for early April so I can run with my summer tires. March may be pushing it since it's been known to snow much later then that

I guess worse case scenerio I can swap the tires out and back again if necessary. Hopefully we can run the 1/4 mile this time!!
