Acura Appreciation Week....did you guys get this?
In the mail today I got a flyer stating that "Acura Appreciation Week" is Oct 11-31. (sounds like 2 1/2 wks to me) Either way, the flyer said at any point during that week I can bring my car in for a free 45 point inspection, to include engine, brakes, drivetrain, suspension, and steering components. Also you can get your car washed free and receive a coupon for a free oil change on your next visit. This new dealer just opened up about 1/4 mile down the road from me, and I was just wondering if it was just at this dealer (Courtesy Acura) or if it was all over. If you guys didnt get a flyer, call and see if they're doing it in your area!

Yeah right! The inspection may be free, but the service Acura will get from all the people that believe what they say won't be free. Sounds to me like Acura isn't making enough money off of service, so they pull a stunt like this to make them selves some service work. Pretty slick calling it "Acura appreciation week", or whatever! Classic marketing that will probably work for them in the short term.

bring it in, don't bring it in...yer decision
if u bring it in, and they tell u u need work done, it's yer decision to say yes to the work or not, so u control the money out of yer pocket, not them

damn I never got mine... do you have to have the coupon or something? I'mm take it in for the checkup. If anything needs to be done I'll do it myself or take it to the family mechanic.

I had that a couple years ago....brought my car in and they said everything looked fine.
Hope I get one for the CL this time...I've got some rattles that need fixing and a list of TSB's for them to check. Also, my fuel economy has sucked pretty bad so want them to check that out.

I got mine. Have you noticed the pic on the front? What's up with that? It's like an Acura car penetrating a woman's a$$ while she is lying on the bed with silk sheets. Am I crazy or is that what's happening?

If you could work the coupon in with the 30,000 mile maintenance, you could just get the regular 7500 mile service and use the coupon for all the inspections that cost $200.00 to $500.00. I plan on trying that in October if I get the coupon.
