Acura 101 rocks!

Took my car in for 15k amintenance schedule.

I had a long list of about 8 things to get looked at. Among one of those things was the ackward sagging of one of the tailpipes (it's on all 2001 CL-S'). Amazingly, they are going to replace the whole muffler. I know this is not necessary. Hence, I will probably mention in to my service advisor to just realign the muffler hanggers.

Also getting replaced:

Sun glass holder door assembly (assemble had broken, and door was left open)

Coin tray (door was hard to close, but not to open)

All in all, they didn't try and dick me around and did what was right for a car under warranty.

Looks like I found a nice and just dealer eh!

Acura 101West rocks!

:P

Cool.

Acura 101 West is slowly becoming my dealer of choice, as I am moving away from Keyes in Van Nuys. Have you had any problems with your brakes? DId 101 West fix it under warranty? Cause a few days ago someone posted that 101 West declined to fix the brakes under warranty, saying it was normal wear and tear.

Sure, they resurfaced my rotors and replaced my pads under warranty! Not a problem!

They were recently bought out by another company!

Replace under warranty eh? How many miles do you have on your CL? They declined to fix my brakes even after I showed them the TSB. They gave me some BS about it not applying to Type S models. I had 19,000 mi on my CL. I agree that 101 West is a good service dealer....but that was until they declined to fix my brakes and gave me all that BS....now I am unsure about their "great" service. Who did you deal with to get you brakes fixed under warranty? Maybe I'll go to that Tech.

I had the work done under Fernando! He did reiterate that it would only be done once as a favor (yeah, right!). And he mentioned I should stay away from driving too fast throgh the canyons (how'd he know?)

Erik is much cooler, but not as thorough! I would recommned you see him next time!

So far 101West has outshined Keyes in Van Nuys!

I had the same experience. They wouldn't fix the warped rotors for me, so I took it to Keyes Acura in Van Nuys.
