Accord 2002 and CL did it share trannies?
Isnt the the CL and TL based off the accord platform? If so wouldn't they share the same trannies?

They may share the same tranny design and dimensions...But the internals are different. The Accord and the TL have different gear ratios, so the gear sizing and tooth are different.

1 less gear to cause problems .. (Hmm, if the Accord's tranny goes, does it go from 4 -> 1, instead of 5 -> 2)

i was asking cuz i would like to know more of the CL auto tranny problem. I owned a v6 late generation accord and talked to 2002 v6 accord owners and they have no problems with their 4 speed autos.

very not true, i have 3 friends that have had accords, one still has it and hers is slipping bad, the other two dont have them anymore because the trans. was messing up way too bad.
