accident friday morning :(

I was involved in an accident in my beloved Aegean Blue CLS on Friday Morning at 7:30AM. A woman in a car cut me off too close, i hit her left rear side and pushed her into the corner of a parked F250 parked on the side
of the road. Cop has determined shes at fault and Im thankful that everyone is ok. Im glad Im not at fault, cuz I simply cannot afford my 1000 deductible at the moment...

well, there goes some money off my CLS, all in good news, I will get the big dent/scratch that the license plate created, cuz i need a new bumper at least. I hope there is no structural/chassis damage. All mods are A ok

Talk to ya later, im gonna go relax, i just keep seeing this replay in my mind

Also I have no pics due to the fact I dont own a digi cam. Asking for one for X-mas. I know you sickos wanna see my damaged car. Shame on you!

Nick

Making this post made me realize something....

My sister was involved in an accident 1.5 years ago, and it was her fault. The insurance company we have gave the driver of the other car 7 grand in pain and suffering....

What a great way to get that damn.

You guys think Ill be getting a lump sum from her insurance company. Im guessing if I ever do, it will take a while for the check to arrive. What ya all think?

You have to ask/sue for it. Somehow I don't think the check just arrives in the mail.

Oh, sorry to hear about your accident anyway.

My insurance company just sent money to the driver, they didnt ask or sue...

They just do it so settle them and good intentions or something.

I dunno, but thats how AAA insurance did it

I have first hand experience with this. If you want money, get to a doctor IMMEDATELY. I got into a big accident in my 98 accord coupe, it was totalled. Went to a chiropractor the next day, accunpuncture, phyical therapy, and massage. My medical bills were $5,000+. So at the very least just get to a chiropractor and get your insurance to be paying for it.. the idea is to get your medical bills as high as you can.

When I was done with all of my medical, my insurance company sent the bill to the other guys insurance company; and they sent me a letter (I didn't have to ask for anything) with an offer to settle for pain and suffering. I ended up getting $11,500 out of it in pain and suffering alone..

Why do we have to live in this sue happy society. If someone hits your car or whatever -shit happens. Dont go trying to screw them or their insurance company over all because of a minor accident. This is why insurance rates are soo high in these days.

Its just greedy, unethical and just plain annoying.

Yes, it’s really sad that everyone is so SUE happy these days over the smallest thing.
A minor accident that will cost NOTHING out of your pocket and everyone suggests going for big money now.

I’m sure that if the people saying that were in the car that got hit they would be bitching about this idiot driver that barely got hit and now wants to SUE them.

SAD….. :shakehd: :shakehd: :shakehd:

Sorry to hear about your accident. The important thing is like you said, nobody got hurt. I agree that this sue happy society is costing us all $$$. The insurance rates in NJ keep going through the roof because of this BS.
