I can produce the 14 second time slip for the teg, but the prelude hasn't been to the track yet. Understand I am saying that the SI is much much lighter than your car. And there is an si version that did noyt come with vtec. Check edmunds.com. And I by no means believe that you rolled with a 97-200? prelude. My boryther at me for breakfast in my 2.2 which has minor mods. But even with 20 more hp to the crank, the prelude has 30 more hp overall. That voupled with about the same amount of torue as us, and dohc vtec/ I do not believe that you could have walked on one of those, well let me rephrase that. You wouldn't have walked on one that had a decent driver that didn't weigh a thousand pounds.

Oh and a 97-99 prelude 5spd DOES NOT RUN 16.4'S, maybe with a horrible driver, but by no means with a decent driver. Stock times as posted by honda at in the low 15's. And my bro ran a 14.9 with just an air intake. Granted that he is one of the best drivers I have ever seen in a race car.

 

Go here and you will see that Honda did make an Si version of the 96 prelude that was not vtec. The VTEC coupe on the other hand does have v-tec. Oh and the second website is for a 96 Si Prelude. With 160Hp and 150 something torque.
