and no, im not talkin about what i got on my math 110 final. I mean i was at the 76 gas station, and wtf are they trying to pull with this 88.5 shit? i mean, does .5 make that big of a diff? i guess so. oh well.

85 + 92 = 177/2 = 88.5
Back to the subject. i dont unfderstand that sh*t either. whats up with those .5 and chit. Of course i've never seen it @ a gas station so i cant speak from experince, only what you guys state here.

Type S, get used to it... Go around to the local Shell Stations (I know the LA ones are like this as I was there recently) and you'll already see 91 octane. 88.5 isn't that far away.
