6speed CL-S and 6speed AV6

Does anyone knows if the clutch and flywheel on the AV6 6speed fit the CL-S 6speed trans.

Might be a difference in the crank triggers on the flywheel. I know there was a difference between the one used on the CL-S6MT and the 3rd gen TL.

Clutch is the same flywheels are different, as Allout mentioned the CLS needs those triggers, what are you going to do... thats hondas first and last year using a dual crank sensor setup. You can however use he CLS flywheel on the Accord should you lets say find a COmptech unit that you want to bolt up to the J30A4/5.

No I have a 03 CL-S 6speed. I was searching on ACT's website and found that they made street and racing clutches and a lighten flywheel for the AV6 6speed trans. So I'm wondering if the clutch and flywheel will work on the CL-S 6speed trans.

The little boxes on the side that say year, make, model, and engine. Click on 2002 for the year. Then Honda for the make. Choose Accord EX as the model. And last choose engine click on V6 3.0 N FI (J30AI) the page will come up.

you will still need the CLS flywheel or one designed for it and im not sure if the av6 trans has the sensor location?

The only flywheels that will work I know of are the oem/oem replacement or the aasco. I would think the question to ask would be if other clutches will work with our flywheels?

Can you buy a clutch for a 3rd gen tl, or v6 accord and use our oem flywheel or aasco with it?

A 7th gen Accord V6 tranny will bolt up, but it doesnt have the crank sensor hole or an LSD. The gearing is identical. You will need to modify the shift change levers (one of the cables mount on the opposite side vs the CL-S6 and the front torque dampener bolt holes are not drilled/tapped but the mounting bosses are there.
