6SPD stock - which intake and springs should I buy

I sat in the 2003 Acura 3.2 CL Type-S Six Speed. Mine is on order and it won't be long, but I want the parts here when it comes in. What is the best intake and what are the best springs?

You pay less for Injen Intake and it is as good as the AEM.
Springs is a taste.. Most have Comptech.

Also get the sway bars... real difference in handling.

One vote for AEM CAI and Comptech springs.
Congrats on your purchase.

aem intake
comptech springs - if you like the suv ride height
h&r sport springs - if you want lower
h&r race springs - even lower, i have them and they're great.
coilovers - if you can spend the money, avoid cheap ones though.
get new tires asap.

Well it looks as though I should go with AEM CAI

We got 2 6speed CL-S in yesterday, and that is what made me want the Anthracite/Ebony. The headlight housing isn't black, its a metallic dark grey, almost matching the Anthracite. I think with the car lowered with some darker 18" wheels, the car will really look good.

Have any of you had good luck with the VTEC controller?

We took the 6 speed out on the road today for the first time. It is an amazing car ranked at 0-60 in 6.0, but it feels so much faster than my RSX-S. The brushed aluminum looks great, and it finally has the auto-up driver window.

If anyone has any questions, ask and I'll do my best to answer.

You have to jack up the car and open up the left front bottom panel to change/clean the AEM filter.

I say get a shortram and save yourself all that trouble. :-p

BUT….
When the engine bay is HOT, you’re sucking up all the HOT air from under the hood.
Not the best scenario for a COLD Air Intake.

Well that's why you get the whole Injen (or is it WeaponR?) setup - shortram, cold air box, and ram air hook up.
Cold, rammed air into a shortram that makes cleaning/changing a much quicker process than that AEM long-arm CAI.

its weapon R.. and there have been discussions of shoddy build quality and lower-than-CAI gains from the weapon R ram-air systems...

Jeez, good thing I didn't buy one yet then.

I guess I'll stick with my hi-flow Comptech filter in the stock airbox and removed resonator (replaced it with a nice tube with the end covered in large mesh).
