Acura's owners link https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?brand=acura and the owners manual will give you the details on what needs to be done.
I've got to get my 30K done, and Inskip Acura wants $500 to do alot of stuff that Acura doesn't require. I've got to call First Acura to get a quote from them, but might end up doing it myself.

I purchased a 1988 Integra from Nalley Acura on Cobb Parkway, but I did not like their service.

FINALLY! I can't wait. The area - for the number of people with big money - has gone FAR too long without an Acura dealer. I mean, there is every dealer imaginable, including a Lamborghini/Aston Martin/Ferrari dealer, yet no Acura dealer? The Gwinnett dealership isn't terribly far, but it takes forever to get there.

I just had the 30k svc done in PA and paid about 240, the 60k svc shouldnt entail a lot more than that....so 300 seems about right, at least around here.

I think I was quoted around 300 or so for 60k service, but I also had my belts replaced at the same time and spent nearly 550 or something, sounds like a lot so maybe the 60k service was quoted higher than that.

Godamn you guys spend a ton on maintenance. 95% of the required manitenance can be done by yourslef, and the rest can be done cheaper at a local garage. Belts/hoses should last way more than 60k, so why replace them and pay the stealership big $$$ for a $10 do-it-yourself job?
My Mustang is 10years old and has 90k on it. It still has the original hoses, and they are holding up great. It has a new belt only because it has UD pulleys, otherwise a serp belt should last close to 75k if properly tensioned.

Ok, so am new here but am looking at buying a CL-S with 60800 miles on it. What do I need to look for to make sure that the 60k service has been done? The guy claims to have all the servicing done by the local Acura dealer, what paperwork should I ask for to be sure this has been done?

That's when I started using Ed Voyles Acura or Acura Carland in Gwinnet. None of the Acura dealers are convenient from Roswell. I heard there is a new Acura dealer coming to Roswell / Alpharetta.

Its called Jackson Acura, in Roswell. They are off Alpharetta highway next to Andretti's Speed lab. Their service is far better than any other dealership in North GA, and Im speaking from experience.

Again I am new Here, but I am not new to forums so I can understand how threads get sidetracked, sometimes by mistake, by people responding to two year old posts.
I would appreciate everyones feedback on this so, again:
60800 miles, how can I tell if the 60k service has been done.
What will dealer paperwork show if the service has been performed?
Thank you.

Jeff, Did you ask the owner for the paper work? I'd want to see the 15,30,45 and 60k service receipts.
The paperwork should contain some notes about the car and issues it has had i would think.

60K isn't anything more then air filter, oil and filter, and pollen filter, rotate tires and some inspections...
http://john-perry.com/acurazine/docu...aintenance.pdf
If you're concerned, you can always do the 60K, and then you know for sure where you stand...

Also, if done at a dealer, they would have the record of it in their system (at any Acura place). Other than that, there's not really much to look for in a 60k service to see if someone did it, because:
1) Oil - even if the guy told me he just changed the oil I'd change it immediately after buying a used car. Can't trust anyone but yourself
2) Tires - you can see if there's uneven wear yourself.
3) Wiper blades? Come on!
4) Fluid levels - again, 5 minutes under the hood and you're cool
5) Road Test - you'll be doing that anyway, and that'll tell you much of what you need to know
6) Air Filter - you'll want a k&n filter even if it was just replaced. If it has a k&n, you'll just need to clean it
7) The rest of the things are simply inspections...
There's nothing there that should keep you from buying a 60800 mile car if it had the 60k service or not.

So we've talking like $35 bucks for stuff some dealers want $500 for

With invoice prices available on the web, I'm convinced most dealers make most of their profits from service... (and people who pay MSRP).

Back to a MT!
I only take my car in for warranty work when something isn't right, which isn't often. I had one re occuring problem which was pretty much traced to some work not done right. Other than that, $17.88 and about 15 minutes for the cabin filter, about $23 for an oil change (stocked up on the buy one get one for 5W-20 sythetic at Advance Auto) and about 30 minutes of work, clean the K&N once in a while, look over the engine bay every oil change to make sure fluids are at good levels and nothing seeping out, change the tranny fluid (about as easy as an oil change (about $25 for fluid), change the whipers when streaky.
Can't say I have spent much on maintenance on this car..... I plan on having it a while, but find that "routine" maintance is pretty much a waste of $$ unless your too lazy or don't have the time to do the above things once in a while... I'm quickly creaping up on the timing belt and new front rotors......and the big dice roll of how much longer the clutch will last (still feels pretty good at 89k)
But just my $0.02.......
