Yeah, in MA/RI it's like $500... I'll be doing my 60K myself (like I did the 30K mile one)... I'm at 57K now:

Recommended maintenance list is here:

would the price be vary depending on the condition of the car? How long would it take to finish the maintenance? do i qualify for a free car loan while they're working on my car?

Most dealer have a price "menu" where you can pick and choose what services you need. I'm going to do my 60K service on my own, but I might bring my car to the dealer for an oil change... (they owe me $35 in credit).

The dealer won't give you a loaner for an oil change, but if you spend $300-$500 on maintenance, they had better give you a loaner

Condition of the car shouldn't matter... changing the oil, rotating the tires, changing the air and pollen filters take about the same amount of time regardless of how dirty they are...

hey i just did the 60k, and i also have a certified with extended warrenty, and with a 10% off dealer coupon it was just over $420, that was with patching a tire. i wasnt sure if it was worth it, having all service records being it was originally a leased car that had every oil change there, but i love my car so i figured it was money well spent. and they gave me a loaner.

maintenance packages is a rip off.
Just look in your owners manual for things that need to be replaced at 60K miles and have the dealer do those items for you. Better yet, don't go to the dealer for that.

Yeah, any reputable shop can do maintenance work. The only concern I had is the use of OEM parts and fluids, which you can buy from dealer's parts department (or online) and just bring those parts/fluids to your mechanic.

its probably a rip off youre right, but the dealer will check so much more than just a mechanic, mechanic wont give you a loaner, wont know if a part needed to be replaced is under certified warrenty or an extended, dealer exclusive, warrenty and if he does he cant do a damn thing about it, but charge full price plus labor

My dealer told me they only give loaners to people who buy acuras from them!! I TOLD them i would never buy a car from them because of the shitty attitude they gave me. This was coming from their manager himself!!!!

NOTE TO ANYONE IN NORTH LOUISIANA DO NOT BUY FROM ORR ACURA! Drive to DALLAS and buy from david mcdavid those guys r the most helpful dealer i have ever been to!

unless you purchased extended warranted, your OEM warranty is out at 50k/4yr. Yes, the dealer might offer you free/discounted deals if you build a good relationship with them. But I am also building a good relationship with my mechanic who will not rip me off. Just to give you an example, I once had a bad lower ball-joint. Dealer quoted me $350 for parts and labor. But my mechanic did it for $150. When the price gap is 2-3 times, the loaner car wont make it a good deal. You can go rent enterprise for 30-40 a day, not a big deal.

There are times however when you have no choice but to go to the dealer... If you happen to have complicated electronics problems or other weird problems, dealer has the best diagnostic tools to find the problem.

both times ive had to get one they gave me a brand new TSX with maybe 1500 miles on it even had XM enabled, not that im a huge fan of the TSX but its always nice to drive a brand new car. maybe its just my dealer but they know how to treat their customers

almost a year after i bought my car, my brakes warped, i took it in they gave me a car, went to pick it up, they didnt charge anything to replace both front rotors and pads. brakes arent covered under certification or extended warrenties from what im aware of. they said it was a GRATIS. couldnt believe it.
