6 speeders... diff noise or steering noise...??

Hi all,
i've been noticing a soft rotational metal/gear like clicking noise when turning either way when my car is "cold". It comes from the front of the car and i can not pin point which side... is this my limited slip diff burning up or is something else? I'm sorta lost on this one... please, any help would be great? I still have warranty, but of course by the time i get it to a dealer... it has stopped making the noise.

thanks

Are you moving while hearing it? Its possible that you have a bad CV or one going bad. I highly doubt its the dif.

possibly a bad ball joint, dont listen to dealers that the whole CV joint needs to be replaced, only the bushing.

Are you lowered? If so that changes the whole front end geometry and you may well have a CV joint problem. A clicking sound is very likely CV joints. I have a similar issue plus a vibration on accleration. I am dropped 2" and will have to replace axels in the spring.

Yes thats pretty much it. Its not a hard acceleration at all, normal, slow movement...

Are axles and cv's covered under the certified pre-owned warranty?

I spoke to a service rep at a acura dealer yesterday.. he briefly heard it, and asked me to make an appt. for them to check it when its cold. He also said it might be an axle or cv. SO.. who knows. I'll post any findings...
