6 speed tranny issue

I've noticed when in 4th gear at around 2,500 to maybe 3,200 rpm for an extended period of time (more than 10 seconds or so), the transmission "stalls" and I lose acceleration for about a second. It doesn't come out of gear though. It's weird, it's like it doesn't like to be in that rpm range in 4th gear for any length of time. In no other gear does this happen. It comes on all of the sudden with constant pressure on the accelerator, I take my foot off, and it's ok. It does it when it's warmed up as well. Has anyone else encountered this?

Ive noticed that when my engine is cold it has done it a few times just as u described....It doesnt stall, but in 4th (only) and low rpms it seems to glip for a half second...

Dont know why..but have not had it happen when its been running for more than 5 minutes....So im not worried at this point...if it gets worse ill have the dealer try to reporduce it...

I get the cold hesitation skip. There is a thread by Allmotor on this subject. I've had two 6 speeds and they both did/do it. So, I wouldn't worry about it.

Haven't noticed any hesitation in any gear with engine cold or warm. The only tranny problem I've experienced is with the notchy feeling when up-shifting into 2nd or 4th gear.
