Hey guys....first of all I would like to thank you guys for helping me with my purchase of this car and the myriad of ideas for modding it...unfourtunately my first post here is because of an issue...
Yesterday, I warmed the car up but not as much as I usually do, and 2 minutes after i started it, the car stalled at a traffic light. I had to start her back up to get going, and this happened at every light thereafter.. I mean the car would just stall every time I went under 1000RPM. Today I havent had the problem as much, but I need to fix it or get it fixed. Do you guys have any idea what it could be? I checked the air filter and that was fine, but didnt get a chance to check anything else.

Also, if i should take it to a mechanic, any suggestions on a mechanic or dealership in Western Mass?

 

How many miles do you have on it....probably can't hurt to run some cleaner through it...

 

Ive got 53000 miles on it. Last week when my boy did an oil change, he put a cleaner in the gas tank. I assum this is the cleaner youre talkin about?

 

check your IACV

Is the Check Engine Light (CEL) on ?? If so, get someone to read the codes (autozone will do it for free)...

I'm not familiar with the western part of the state, but if you post in the thread I linked above, maybe one of the other locals will know a dealer/mechanic out west...
