The 6-Speed mileage thread

Got my 105k service at 105,400 miles the other day. Just drove from Minneapolis to St. Louis yesterday. Driving up to Madison and then out by Green Bay and Amherst, WI later this week. Car is running great. Changed the transmission fluid (was changed last at 60k when I bought the car and once before that).

As oppose to having a CL with really low mileage that screams "I wasted money on a normal ole' car that sits and doesn't get use"? The CL isn't a car that's going to be worth anything some day even with low miles. Might as well get your moneys worth by driving it.

and I agree with you that you should be driving the car all the time and getting ur money's worth. But I still don't like putting mileage on it . which is why I personally wouldn't want to flaunt my high mileage. that's just me tho

If it were a brand new car, Id hate piling on the mileage the way I do (warranties and resale). But its used, so I drive the piss out of it.
105k+ and counting. I think I may have broke 106k today, but I dont even pay attention to it. I know I put over 200 miles on it going to work though.

I have this thing with my car where i want to keep the miles under 60,000.
Yeah i know it's weird, but i like having an old car with low miles cause it makes it very hard to find and more unique

119,000 miles clutch is wearing thin. probably wont last another 2500 miles. Just had the timing belt, water pump, tensioner, pulley, ac and steering belts done. They all looked like brand new when removed. Wish I bought a clutch instead.

Also, i only drive 14 miles a week on my CL because i have a daily driver to put the miles on.

Seriously, an Accord of the same mileage and year as my car is worth more, and it retailed for less.
You do specifically say Asian cars, so you're not talking about just Hondas. So I will agree that some Asian manufacturers have shitty resale (Mitsubishi, aside from the EVO, Kias, Hyundais)
