How many teeth does the clutch have? And what is the diameter of the clutch? Figured since ours is a push type clutch, we can fit any clutch from another car with the same diameter and amount of teeth.

Also, does anyone make a stand alone with a base map for the CLS?

 

are you talking about only the disc? or a complete kit?

 

what are you trying to do? looking for a high performance clutch for the 6 speed? i assume by teeth you are talking about the splines on the input shaft? whats up?

maybe if you cant find an option for the acura 6 speed you can find one for the accord 6 speed, since its essentially the same thing.

 

I was talking about the disc, sorry for not clarifying. And by teeth, I believe we're on the same page by referring to the splines on the input shaft. I figured with this information, we can look into other aftermarket cluthes other than the comptech one.

 

Go to this link and read, then send an email. I spoke with them this past week and the owner was out of town so no new word yet, but it's coming so they say. i'll talk with them next week at moroso in wpb. He did tell me that they could hook me up with the disk as they are easy to cross reference, if you need a disk right away try them and see what they say. in the meantime, spec clutch has disks for our car.

No one makes a standalone. I have tec3r and I'm not sure what thinjim has or is going to run.

 

There is someone running a Spec Clutch on v6 performance.

 

i will never use a spec clutch again. clutch explosions are disasterous. i have blown apart two spec clutches. once almost losing my foot in the process. scatter sheild FTW!
