I was merging on the onramp to the 110fwy and i saw a civic and integra go at it. In the end i saw the civic beat the integra and that got me curious....so i speed up a bit and now im at 85mph in 5th gear. I pass the up the civic about 1 or 2 cars up and then i hear the civic downshift....i then gas the pedel in 5th...the civic got up to my bumper but after 100mph i was up by so much i shut down near 120.

Was at the 76 gas station getting beef jerkey and shit when my cell rings. It was a friend who has a B20 motorswap in his civic. He says that he sees my car and that he wants to run me. I said sure lets do this. So we go on roll both in 1st...i tell whenever he's ready just go (i was giving him a chance) i hear him gas it and then i mash on the pedel. He was up 1/2 a car when i finally hit 2nd then i jumped to a 1/2 car lead. by the time i was in 4th i was up by 1/2 a city block. My friend told me he saw flames shoot out the rear of my exhaust

I was merging on the 605 north and was behind a fixed up RSX type S in 4th. I speed up a bit to swing into the fast lane...i was about 1 car in the lead and then i hear the RSX hammer it...so i chuckled and mashed on the gas. By that time he on my rear bumper but by 110mph he was 8 cars or more behind.

Going home on the 110 fwy i pass up a white 2nd gen MR2 with no wing and some gauges. Im in 5th gear and i hear the MR2 speeding up to catch up with me...by that time i was 2 cars ahead...i dropped to 4th and jump to a 1 car lead...next thing ya know i saw his lights slowly creep up....im thinking "Oh shit" this guy is boosting hard...i had to slow down cuz of a car in front...i passes me up...i then mash the gear into 4th flogging my car and screaming obscenaties at the same time thinking " GO GO GO"
i get next to his rear bumper and we're both weaving in and out on this tiny ass 3 lane curvy pasadena fwy...i could not pass him up after that. We both shut down and give each other props...he has a passanger with him and vid cam...DOH!!!! well at least they were cool and i took my raping like man and thew up a thumbs up.

Sweet kills, but I really want you to stop practicing!!! The last thing I need is for you to figure out how to drive that thing before we go to the track!!!!

Racing on the 110, you've go to be nuts. I get scared just driving that f'ing freeway.

 

yeah i dont like that fwy cuz all of those twists and turns and the road is uneven too...but i felt like nicolas cage in "the rock" when he driving that ferrari...before he went thru the store and thru the window..."OH WELL WHY NOT!!!!"

I'm going to drag his arse out to LACR, probably next week. Sure you don't need to do some track tuning allmotor? We would be the most unlikely group to hang out. A Regal, A 240Sx(swap), and the Allmotor CLS. LOL We're shooting for next Wednesday night.

I am really hesitant to run at the track without something to help traction... as it is quite pointless on a FWD that's torquey

It probably was stupid to run on those drag radials at Bakersfield with the turbo... except for a good mph measurement.

OK, now I'm starting to get scared.....I'm starting to understand the import engine coding. LOL Thats the twin turbo motor...right?

 

heh GSdave is slowly gonna be a nissan fan =)

RB26DETT is the 2.6 liter twin turbo engine found on the skyline. It's base power is 280hp and 293lbs of torque. The skylines wiegh in around 3400lb. Now imagine my car which wieghs 2800lbs and has stock 220hp and 205lbs of torque with that RB engine. I can say that the stock skyline does the 0-6 in 4.7 sec.

 

But all wheel drive on the Skyline have a lot to do with the low 0-60 time I'm sure...

But it will be a sweet swap none the less!!!

 

Scary isn't it. Actually you should know I am a car fan first, I just like TQ, so good ole pushrod motors get me going.

Funny thing is, I think they might kick me out of my local car club, I was acutally defending your car on a GP board. J/K He called you rice. LOL Then I educated him. Must resist the dark side......
