as I speed my way out the l.i.e. and make two right turns.. I notice a g35 behind me. Hoping he turns right and the up-coming light is red... my wishes come tru!! I roll up my windows as he pulls up to my left. not thinkin he was willin to race, the light turns green and off he goes. something told me he wanted to race... considering the fact that his was manual because of his brembos, so off I went also. surprisingly when I looked to my left... I was ahead of him by about 4 feet cuz when I looked... I was starin at his front bumper I guess he got so mad.. he wanted to continue the rae.. which would have lead me to blowin the upcoming red light so I stopped but he continued guess those g35's aren't what they're up to

2005 or 6 i dunno... but the new ones and i also raced one in the highway... my skills left him somewhere dotted on my rear view mirror when he finally caught up to me cuz i was drivin slow to try n race again he's like wow ur crazy im like.. naaa, my car is lol n he's like i got manual stock im like automatic bitch lol but cold air n he like yea i can hear it im thinkin get off my nuts FOO!!!!

i've raced a 04 G35 Coupe. nothing special. kelp up with it like nothing.

 

Ditto, I caught one at a red light along with a 350Z and raced them. The G35 we left, (I was walking away from him after 2nd) but the 350Z was a little tougher, but he had to have had work done.
I had a CAI and lightweight crank pulley...

On a side note, I raced the new BMW 3 Series Coupe (300hp turbo) from about a 50mph roll. We were dead even until he let up at about 100mph. Those things are quick but I just shifted into 4th and am pretty sure I would've pulled on him...

 

My best friend has an '06 manual G35 Coupe, I have an A/T CL-S (haven't ran him with my intake I just put it in today), but as far as stock goes we've done every kind of run.

From a dig, I jump out about a car length off the line and once we hit 45 he slowly starts pulling away and by the time we hit 100 he's got 2-3 car lengths on me. From a 20mph roll, I jump out front hard and it takes until 55-60 for him to start walking away. Fact is, they've got 40hp on us stock, but they're about the same weight so it's not going to destroy you, but it will walk anyone with a stock/lightly modded CL-S

Believe it or not I actually raced a G35 coupe last night, it was too ironic after posting about it yesterday. We went from a couple of rolls and stops and I had him by 1-2 cars everytime. I have a 6spd and he had one as well...Not sure if it was an '06 or not though...

I raced my boy who has a 2005 G35 Coupe, from a roll i stayed pretty close too him. We both are automatics. At the time I needed a tune up so it might be closer next time.
