3.0 Cl Vs Charger
Well I went to fuddruckers tonight for the races and I was chilling with my car club. I go up to my friend from the club who has a dogde charger and ask him if he wants to run it and he says "are you willing to full up my tank"? I said "hell no but im sure it will beat your v6 charger" his girl was in his car so I guess he was not goin to let it slide. So we leave get on the 826 (freeway), we line up around 50mph im in second gear around 4,500rpm when I beep 3 times and were off. Im just going to say that I stomped a good 5-4 cars infront of him. I raced from a 15 mph roll and same results no chance!

no surprise there...especially since it's the V6 charger. He should've saved his money and bought the hemi instead of the rims. Not sayin the hemi's all that great (i've beaten a couple w/ my CL-S), but if you're gonna buy a charger, you might as well at least get one with a V8.

i dont know why people would buy base model Mustangs and Chargers when they offer the Hemi for the charger and the GT, and Cobra for the mustangs.

its the cost factor. by far. my girlfriend was going to get a cobra because she liked the way it looked but then couldnt justify the cost difference. She drives like 5 under the speedlimit all the time and generally just pisses me off when she drives. Besides that, if you cant get financed for a hemi, get the base model and throw rims on it, and it will be sorta kinda bad ass.... looking anyways.

well following that reasoning, you should buy a ford gt, viper, or a z06 vette if you wanna race. I used to have a high 10 sec car and the most fun racing i have ever had was in a buick reatta against a ford taurus. I kicked his ass... but man it was close. Same thing on bikes. I have a Duc I ride and the most fun i ever have is when my buddies and i go on our pocket bikes or scooters and tear around.
