I'd say purposely swapped, because it also has an aftermarket exhaust.

 

Id be worried about the busted steering colum.

 

Looks like it was rear ended. Look at the left corner of the trunk near the rear window. It doesnt line up. I cant tell if it has CT mufflers on it or just some aftermarket mufflers.

thats a clean 03.... i havent seen any cl-s cars in east tennessee in a long time. the last one was a 6speed 03 with a ricer exhaust and chromei homies and beat to hell exterior.....

My guess is that it just needs a new synco. It's very unlikely that the whole tranny is bad....

 

I spoke to this guy and he said he took it to a transmission place and he was told that it needs a new not rebuilt transmission but you never know how reliable that info is.

He said he cannot afford to have it done so he's getting rid of the car and btw he also told me that there is a dent in the drivers side door that you can't see in the pictures and for some reason he didn't put that in the ad.

 

While I agree with the following, I found it hilarious.

 

I have owned 2 auto's and I have to say I don't agree with that neither has needed a transmission change and other than one ballast going out I haven't had any problems. (knock on wood).

 

Well you are just part of small group of people that have had good luck with these trannies. The majority of auto CL's have trannies that go out prematurely.

Apparently used prices are going up pretty much on all cars. I've been shopping around and noticed they went up for no reason. Sad

 

I got mixed emotions about my cl.
And I am considering selling my car and everything extra I have with it.
But,not 100% set on selling.
I put like a feeler sale on craigs asking for offers for what I have.
Anyone here interested feel free to shoot a offer.
I know what the cars worth used stock,and I know all the money,sweat,and busted knuckles in this car.
And with that said the car and all my extra's will not sell for book value.

Hey, i have a question for you guys and didn't know where to post but here feels like somewhere it should be. I recently bought a Cl-s 6speed in november. I love everything about the car, except for the fact that there is hardly any space in there! I guess i thought i would grow into it but not being able to ride with my friends comfortable is getting to me. I'm still debating but if you guys would tell me about how much i should ask for my car i would appreciate it.

People are just asking unrealistic prices for their cars that they won't get. The most realistic pricing website (edmunds) indicates an 03 6 speed in Clean condition with 100k retails at 7.5k and 6.5k for private. I sold my first 6 speed over 2.5 years ago for 10k and people are asking for more then that presently with more miles. Just keep the car.
