I was driving back from lunch today when i come up on a 2nd Gen CL...i see the red Type S and so i want to catch up to it...but when i get closer the badging on the back didnt say "CL-S" it said "LX-S" and also the ACURA wasnt spaced out on the trunk, like on regular 2nd Gen's, the letters were close together.

Has anyone seen these before? Can you tell me what they are? I have seen A LOT of 2nd gens, but never any w/ that badging

It should say "TypeS". Maybe you were looking at a riced up Accord Coupe LX. Probably added the "S" badge.

Man, when I was in college, we never used the term 'rice'. We just called them FOB cars.

 

i am positive it was a 2nd Gen CL...trust me, i know the difference between an Accord and an Acura

and as far a rice...i dunno, the guy driving it looked kinda older, like 50's maybe, and besides that it was stock...it didnt stike me as someone that would know what the fuck it would mean by putting that LX-S badge on there, which infact defines rice, haha.

so basically there is no LX-S 2nd gen?
