I really like the 2002 tl key fob. Do we know if it would work on a 01 Cl-s? Also do you just order a "blank" and program it or do you have to special order your specific code. Thanks

You can order and it will work. I had mine stolen and I bought two new TL-S remotes. You program them to the car. It is possible to program up to 4 remotes but they all have to be done at the same time. Each time, a different code is generated by the car.

Order the Fob from www.ahmotor.com - Their price is about $45 + Shipping. Not sure if they have the Fob listed on their web site, but call them, tell them you want the 2002 TL Key Fob and make sure you specify what seat program number you want (#1 or #2).

Do a search on this board for TL Fob and look for the instructions from the HELM manual on how to reprogram your remotes. It's easy to do... After all, If I did my own, anyone can!

Be sure to get one - they are far "cooler" than our CL remotes!

I paid 37.oo at my dealer... I had them program one and then took the brains out of another and switched them works great..

Also remember the TL ones probably look nicer but they scratch and dent more easily. Mine is only a few months old but it looks like a few years.

I agree, but they look like they can chip really easily...the psuedo-chrome that is.
