Nothing other than the King Motorsports TB is going to work for those of us who want to keep VSA (I know type-R's car is now w/o VSA) just a reminder to anyone else following this progress.

not true at all steve...the VSA is a seprate throttle body type device,i think what your going by is,what scalbert said...in short yest the TB will be enlarged but the air still has to pass through the smaller VSA so this will still be a source of restriction...if anyone did wanna go the king way and not eliminate the vsa one could have both P&P'd

Since you've seen the other TB, go back and asked for a gasket for the cl TB and try to make a comparision if the bolt pattern is the issue.

Correctomundo. Stock CLS TB is between 66-67mm and KM bored to 71mm.

acctually i think the measurements are at the plate...could be wrong but dont think so... the cl S tb is supposedly 64(assumed at butterfly) can be enlarged 3 +mm the other TBs are 70 and 74 at the plate...

Be sure to verify the size at the plate. There should be no reason why the S2000 would have a larger bore TB.

Also, where do these resistors get mailed to?

STEVE to be clear abotu what im saying...ive found an after market TB in 2 sizes for the S2K 70 and 74 mm (assuming they are talking about the plate size) my investigation of a stock S2K TB is just to see if it fits...bolt patterns ect. i assumed it was smaller in stock form...i thought i read the clS TB was 64mm again assumed at the plate for this measurement...so this after market unit if it works would be 6/10 mm's larger than our stock unit...
