Hey all
I have a 2002 Acura CL-S and there is picture below of my Car.

I need help with some simple mods for this Acura. I need to know where to find some of the stuff listed below in Toronto Canada or Online. Thing i am looking to do are:

- A Lip Kit (Very simple one e.g like the 1999 Acura TL Kit)
- HID Lights
- Paint inside the headlight Black
- Wrapping the Hood in a Black 3M Vinyl
- Adding a Hood Scoop (just for show)
- 18" Black Rims with a Chrome Lip
- Putting Black Small Diamond Mesh on the Grill with the Chrome Part over it.

I am open to more ideas and your thoughts. Please help me in finding someone this stuff by leaving links or locations.

-Good luck finding a TL lip kit
-We have HIDs stock but if you want brighter.. then go ahead.
-Not hard
-You want a black hood and a silver car? Um....
-Hood scoops look ugly on this car.
-Quality rims or nothing at all
-eh im not so sure about that.

That is not a good lip kit unless you want to do the long amount of custom work to make it look good. I think it was that guy DLintheCL or something like that that did it but it was a long process.

 

If it says OE STYLE its not the right lip kit. The 99-01 TL lip kit is like $600 altogether.

 

i would mod that chromed grill if ur going to get rid of the chromed headlight housing... painting the inside housing is a decent amount of work and is very finicky.. if u use the wrong paint or dont apply it correctly u will have a nasty eye sore inside the housings.. plus if u don't sea them up well it will lead to moisture buildup which could leak into ur ballasts and then pooch them (the stock oem ballasts are secured to the bottom of the housing where there is a hole that seals both the housing and the ballast together)

absolutely the worst design i have ever seen with electronics... i am flat out amazed mine lasted as long as they did (12 yrs).

I personally hated the front of the cl after owning it for a year or to... it just looks like a big smiley face.... too nice for me lol

as for the hood scoop... defs no... and HELL no if it's just or show.. i and the rest of azine would frown upon you deeply.

if u are open to ideas.. then take this one... lower that beast.. period

and as for the lip kit... in my opinion at least.. dont bother... u will just ding the shit outta it or worse... crack it in half in the winter. and when u lower the car u will hit it even more... i hit shit all the time and my car is not even that low at all! i thank myself weekly for not fitting a lip kit to my car... more trouble than its worth..

so IMHO.. priority one, lower the car... then id get upgraded sway bars and end links.

and then i would tackle the front of the car... lose the chrome on the grille or get a whole new one.. and as for the headlights i would just get 03 housings if u can find them and be done with it... or if u feel like monkeying around.. pull yours out. pull them apart. sand them down and use an epoxy paint that way it will be heat resistant and likely wont crack over time....

i just got 03 housings and bought my grill off ebay.

and i would lose the yellow fog lights... i think the fog lights in general look like balls.... that why mine are tinted black with led bulbs in there.. once again.. all my opinion so don't take what i say to heart that much.

 

Send me a PM I have a set of factory 03 cls headlights that came blacked out, bought the car wrecked in the rear to do a 6 speed swap the front end is mint.

If your going to wrap the hood get the chrome on the grill wrapped at the same it.
