2001CL-PREMIUM VS 1998PRELUDESHSTOCK
I RACED A 1998 PRELUDETYPE SH..HIS IS ALL STOCK AND NONE OF THAT FANCY STUFF ON IT..SO IT WAS A LONG STRAIGHT AWAY AND AS THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN..WE BOTH TOOK OFF..WE WERE BOTH HANGIN WITH EACH OTHER AND ALL OF A SUDDEN..HE TOOK ME OUT...I DONT KNOW BUT I WAS PRETTY SURE I WOULD OF BEATEN HIM BUT I GUESS NOT..SO IS A 2001CL-PREMIUM NOT AS FAST AS A PRELUDE?? I KNOW FOR SURE THAT A TYPE S WOULD OF TAKEN IT..BUT IS THE PREMIUM STILL FAST IN ANY OF YER GUYS' OPINIONS? I KNOW FOR SURE THE CL-PREMIUM WOULD SMOKE YER ORDINDARY CIVIC OR INTEG..SO WHAT ARE YER OPINIONS ON THE 2001CL-PREMIUM?

CL-P's are still pretty quick. I take it the Prelude was a stick otherwise I think you would have edged him out. He didn't beat you too bad did he?? I would guess by only a couple car lengths.

What are the weight differences between CLP and Prelude? CLPs are pretty heavy, heavier than the TL I believe.
Prelude=200 vtec
CLP=225 vtec
I don't think the hp would make a big difference if the prelude is lighter, stick, and had a good driver.

my stock 5 spd 2000 prelude is very quick, not as fast as the type s of course. got gtech last week so i went out to test out 0-60. the prelude avg 6.65 and my type s avg 5.85 both with my fiance in the passenger seat.

he could of always had nos shots, unless u know what he's got and why he skunked you i guess its always a possibility he's hiding something!!
