My dealer called just now and told me that my allocation for a 2001 Aegean Blue CL has been changed to a 2002. I don't know if this means that the 2002's are coming sooner than expected or now. He assured me that I would still get the same discount. Should I be happy or sad. I really like the 91 steering wheel plus my S2000 will be a little harder to get rid of later in the summer.

So now I am desperate for info on a 2002. Does anyone know when they will start production.

Maybe it's just with the blue, call your dealer and find out when the 2002s are expected. If your allocation was changed, he should be able to give you an expected arrival date.

Acura is being very secret about the 2002. So far, only what's been leaked via Motorweek (6-speed news)is what is what seems to be known about the 2002.
I have contacted several dealers and Acura several times and I never get a straight or non-speculative answer about when the 2002 will be available. And no one has yet to confirm the 6-speed.
It's very frustrating to someone like me who is in the market for a new CL-S in Sept.
Jake- did your dealer tell you when you might be able to expect your new vehicle?

Yes, I called him again last night. He indicated that my car which was actually originally allocated as a 2001 had been changed by acura. He assumed that this meant that they 2002s were starting up soon. He said he would have a build week in a couple of weeks and expected that it would be a late July Build week.
