i wanted to know if a 20" by 8.5 rim would fit? I heard it would fit if i leave the car at stock height. Let me know if they will fit or not because my car needs some rims thanks.

 

It's gonna look like a 4x4 if you get a set of rims and not lower it. Get some springs and no bigger than 19s.

 

Here's my CL with 20's. No rubbing at all, I think I should lower it a tad though

You know what, that pic is one of a few other pics that were featured in another thread, and if you look closely all he did was swap rims with his friends maxima which is in the garage which still has on 2 of the other rims to see what they'd look like on his car. All 4 rims aren't even on his ride. the maxima has the other 2 rims! or so i've heard. why claim u have em on ur car when u don't. some guys always gotta try to ball it up online to prove what?

Furthermore, I never said they were my rims. I was only showing a picture of my CL with 20's on it...whether they're mine or not wasn't relivant. The post was a joke. The rims were obviously too large for the car, it sat on the fender, and nearly rubbed my trailing arms. You guys act like I'm committing a crime or something.

anyway, i guess it's a good thing u don't have 20's on ur car, with the occasional flooding that occurs in certain parts of AZ, having a car that low with large rims wouldn't be that great.

Today i went to a rims shop and they put on a 20" rim in the front and they fit good, no rubbing at all.
Should i get them with spinners??????

don't edge him on to get spinners dude...get some 19's and a set of tein coilovers...the only successful CL owners w/ 20's have full fender flair kits. It ain't gonna work w/o a drop and w/o a drop it's gonna look like ass!!!!!

 

If you put spinners on a CL you will be hunted down, shot, and banned from A-CL.
