It's gonna rub. My C5 rub like a biatch until I rolled the dame fenders.. It still rubs with full load of people.

my tires are 235/35/19 toyo FZ4.

i have 18x7 w/ +42 offset, 225/40-18. i rub in the back a little bit. but my car is twice as low as a comptech drop. you may rub a little with passengers in the back going into steep driveways etc.

i think you would want to get 225/35-19.

I had 18x8 + 45 offset and 225/40/18 and NEUSPEED race drop (less than 1 finger gap) on My old CLS and NEVER rubbed.. not sure why u guys are??..

19x7.5 with +42offset and 225/35/19 rubber sounds like it SHOULD be ok?.. but i wouldnt recommend rolling on that thin of a sidewall.. its better for you to go 18s.. less headaches in the long run.

FYI: almost anything with a 42 offset is going to throw shit all over the side of your car... so if you like road tar and stone chips alot, then I recommend the 42 offset.

I have 225/45/17 on 42mm w/ a CT drop and have had no issues from rubbing.

You're running a 17" rim... he wants a 19" rim. Two completely different configs....

Apples --> Oranges

I wanted to get the Niche F- 16's but they only come in a 42 mm offset, and I don't want them to rub. After hearing all of these horror stories about 19's I might end up just settling for 18's so I can have a bigger side wall. Besides if I get 18's there is a much bigger selection!!

when i spoke with a rep from volk, they told me that a +45 offset on a set of 19x8 won't rub either with a 2.2" drop.
