20 mins with a 2001 325i

My cousin just got a 325 so I took it out for a little while tonight just to test it out and have some fun with it. Allright here is my review.

The ride is nice, smooth and quiet.

The driver side room is very limited, might be becuase of my height and feet but felt way too tight.

Def. a lack of power and no way it does the 60 sprint in the low to mid 7s. I was using the Steptronic and maybe it was low to mid 8s.

Very quiet engine, looks sweet at night inside, Xenons are brighter than ours

Love the MPG thing on the Speedometer

Nav sucks

Not big enough for me

Handled awesome, fun car to drive great turning radius

Umm if your a size 15 you foot sometimes gets stuck by the pedals they are too close together. and no room on top

All in all, a nice car. But there are just too many, it costs $35K which is insane, it was underpowered for that money, did ride smooth and quiet which I love. But would never choose a 3 series over my CL.
Maybe a 540i.

During BMW's "Drive for the Cure" event last year..... the new 3series convertible just came out. They had one there, I wanted to take it for a spin, was a manual (was a 325, 330's came out later). After 5 minutes, I brought it back.

Hey i'm not bashing BImmers, just so everyone knows. I do however think 3 series are way to overpriced, and you odn't get what you pay for.

They are smooth, quiet and nice.

But at 6'3" with long legs and big feet, I don't have a prayer of fitting in one and being comfortable at the same time. So not an option for me. Also if i'm gonna get one I would end up spending 40K. I rather get a CLS, with navi, headers, intake, tires, rims.
Just My opinion. Which by the way is always correct

My Mom has a 325ci and my old Accord was faster. I love the looks of it though.
