well as most of u know i got the touchscreen dvd6500 from pioneer. I am looking into my next project for the month and im trying to decide if i want to put two screens in the head rest or get headers (not comtech). also most of u know im in some license point problems so i dunnoo if headers or any kind of hp mod is necessary anymore bc i CANNOT SPEED WHATSOEVER.

what do u guys think i should do?

 

The headers will be nice, and you can use them at the track.

I'd say headers. At least you can benefit from those... what good are rear facing headrest TVs if you're in the driver seat? Unless you have kids it's a waste of money....

 

2 TVS no point in making your car fast if you cant go fast its a waste

 

I know i can benefit from the headers but i really cant put them to use, bc if i get caught, im really F'ed, also I can get the 2 extra screens at about 300$ so....its a
pretty cheap mod to make the car look really sweet IMO. Also junior u can close the duplicate thread i started since my comp was messed up.

 

go with TV's!! if you cant speed, what good are the headers? just cruise and turn some heads. The CL is considered a luxury coupe anyways, not a race car.

Headers - to go with the radar detector you've already got. Can't understand the need for 2 TV's in the rear, let alone one. Unless you're only into looks and shows, don't bother.

 

The extra TVs would be cool if it was a 4 door!

LCD's in the headrests are useless. Who cares about the people in the back.

quite a bit. sometimes i run customers home, and most of the time when we go out we take my car, so i do have a few riding in teh back

I agree with matt here. If he keeps his seat as far back as i do, when driving the screen would be right up against the rear passengers face.

Leave the rear screens for those with 4 doors.

I noticed you don't have sways in your sig. Get those. If you don't want headers, don't get the screens, just save your money.

I have people in the back of my seats a decent amt of the time bc im always driving, and my friend can get me two screens for 250 and the quality isnt bad, I think its better then just getting obx headers.

 

i will def get sways at one point bc i had them on my maxima and loved thehandling but i can get a real good price on these head rest monitors

 

Almost 3 out 5 times that I go out with my gf, I have to haul her sisters and/or niece, nephew. Having screens back there is actually a disadvantage because I couldn't them to ride in the other car.

Btw, if you put screens there, you will know how often you would have to haul ppl in the back seats. My co-workers always insist on taking my car when we go out for lunch.

Seems like you already decided, go with what you want.

 

Ive decided and im going with the screens, i ordered them and will be here on friday so hopefully ill have them done this weekend and ill post pics. I cant speed and with my luck the first time i test out the headers ill get a ticket.
