I'm not sure whats' going on but this seems like the beginning of ANOTHER busted tranny for me.


When I am first accelerating i feel the slip from 1st to 2nd, the rpms go up and the car doesn't go. It catches kindof quickly. Its happening more frequently as of late.
it hasn't happened in any other gears yet.


What do you guys think? Take it to the dealership?

All I know is after having two go on me, I wouldn't hesitate about taking it in.

Yup, this is getting me closer and closer to stopping off at the nissan dealership on the way home from work one night, trading it in, and getting a new Z.

If it does need another transmission, (already been replaced once), then I may have to do it.

 

have u checked your tranny fluid somtimes old fluids lose there characteristics and tend to slip b/w gears
