Do you know if they'd be able to make the offset any higher? That'll help with your rubbing issues.

i dont know, they said they, took it down from a +47, to a +45...so i dont think u can put 2 mm back on...but
if i roll the fenders, it should go away right?...or does our car also rub on the plastic inside the wheel well?

i think it rubs on the plastic on the wheel well, that's the part they modify i believe if you want to get 19" and make em fit.

Hey guys, this is my first time posting. I have a white 03 cl-s 6 speed.

I am interested in getting these exact rims. The car is still stock, and i don’t plan on dropping it. Will there be any problems with these 19's if I don’t drop it, and will there be any performance degradation.

Thanks guys,
Fahmyboy

19s will already degrade you performance. Not dropping it will make the car look somewhat odd because of the wheel gap.

i had 19'' se7ens on my tl. also +45 offset, i had them milled DOWN to a +47. how did you go from a +47 to a +45? wouldnt that be adding?(as far as offsets go). i'd love to have those rims in chrome. very nice looking big

Wow! Those are amazing! I have an '03 Black CL-S too, so I can really imagine what my car would look like if I had those. Would the 18" version be cheaper than the 19s?

With the money saved by going with 18s instead, I could pay almost entirely for new Sumitomo HTRs to go on them!

My thoughts exactly. Shouldn't he be able to go from 45 to 47 now...maybe even higher.

If you get 19s, or any aftermarket wheels for that matter, you MUST drop the car. It will look ridiculous otherwise.

since u got Teins then it s much easier... go cut out ur fender... anr raise ur rear (if that s where it rubs) about 0.5-0.75... and see if it still rub....

it should fix the problem

i have H&R sport about 2 inch drop also.. i used to Koni yellow and raise my rear about .5 inch and no more rubbing since then unless i pack 3 ppl in the back

I wanna put them on so bad, but i wont till spring Also i talked to Axis the other day and they told me the whole +47 offset thing was a mistake, that they never were 47, that they came as +45...but i dont know.

Their website says that the 19X8s come in offsets of 35 and 47. I don't think I'll ever buy another Axis wheel just because of the fact that the company is so full of shit. (Or maybe just my bad experiences.)
