im debating wether or not to sell this money pit =\

actually it's been a good ride!
I bought the car with 33K on it and aside from the tranny, I havent had any major issues.
I am happy to say I put 100K hard miles on my baby!

Personally, I dont consider 100k+ miles on any Acura/Honda to be a lot. Just bc it has a lot of mileage on it, doesn't necessarily mean parts are going to break more frequently and or you have to sell the car. Maintain the car and it'll keep driving like it did when it was brand new. I plan on driving mine into the road. Like you, I haven't had any major issues except the 1st tranny, and i'm at 150k+ miles

well if your even considering selling it then do it- your not going to get any more money next year or the year after when you reconsider again and it has even more miles on it. the bigger question is what do you want to replace it with. how bad you want that will determine whether you sell or not

good point...

If I were to replace it, it would be with a CPO TL or Lexus IS350 (prolly the IS350 RWD FTW)

I got mine in April with 151k.

It had been faithfully maintained and needs nothing. That's why I paid 8k, because I knew I was getting a maintained adult (Woman) owned car.

It runs and looks as close to like new as an old car can.

Have you beat.. 147k on my 03.

Only thing that is questionable at the moment are my CV joints, which is probably due to the car being lowered. At this point the car is dead reliable and makes a great daily driver. You will end up getting hosed on resale due to the mileage, just keep it as a backup car if nothing else.

I've got you all beat. I have about 165,000 miles on my 01 CL Type S. I bought the car brand new in 2001.

Other than the fact I'm on transmission #4, I've never had any other problems with the car. I've replaced the usual stuff including my springs (damn Comptech ones rusted over so bad) and shocks, but I've never had a part fail on me. But once I had the supercharger and high boost pulley installed a few months ago, that's a different story. There seems to be a new problem every week now. Oh well.

how many trannies were put in after the expiration of the warranty? if they were, were they done under good will? i'm concerned because i'm at 120k with one replacement. i know that sooner or later it'll fail.

My transmissions were all replaced under warranty. I think my last one went out at like 90,000 miles. So I've been on my current transmission for like 70,000 miles and no problems so far. They did install the oil jet at some point so I guess that does help. Plus I have a transmission cooler now as well.
