1-800 Acura Roadside Service

To keep it short..........

Call these guys when needed!!!

For the first time in my life on Fri I had a situation where my keys decided to lock themselves in the car taking my cell phone and my wallet hostage. Accually, it was my own damn fault.

I called the 800 # on the window and they had a towtruck out to me in about 30 min. They will pay up to 100 bones for the service.

Very cool. I was keeping my roadside assistance included with my car insurance only because it only $15/year. Acura care sounds good. Hopefully I won't ever need it but just in case. Good thing the number is on the window. Easier than searching for it with the payphone.

You were lucky. I locked my keys in the car once. I called the number on the window and stayed on hold for over an hour. I never got thru to anyone. The one time that I needed them, nothing. Calling them was a complete waste of my time.

I think I’ll do this on purpose tonight to try out my OnStar.

Between OnStar, Acura Assistance, and AAA, I'm not sure who to call when I have a problem.

(I'll probably start with Acura while it's under warranty)

They are completely spectacular...why bother with AAA when you have this service for the duration of the warranty?

Shawn,

What the hell are you gonna say to them? "oh my 2002 is not getting enough love or Zanio, please help!!" or are you gonna really put your keys in and lock up the car?
