not sure what else you want to see but the IMRC and butterflies have been moved to the lid as you mentioned

NEVERMIND RES back to dead ... no but really what still could be done is that spacer SCalbert had made way back get used to gether on original manifold but use '09 lid essentially what im saying is add about the height of the butterflies from the '09 lid as a spacer and have two sets of butterflies the ones in the -01-03 manifold and the ones in the '09 lid open same time

you mean a spacer between the manifold and runners? Some people have used the MDX spacer. You can mill it down a bit for better clearance too. I have an outlaw spacer for sale...it's about a 1/4" i believe.

no a spacer between the lid and the manifold increasing plenum volume

what about spacers for the front and rear plenum. Instead of replacing them with P2R plenums, make a spacer and bolt the oem ones back on. There must be a bit of room to work with there.

I dont see how that spacer will make any power (and in one of Scalberts posts, he mentioned performance was damn near the same as stock).

The plenum spacer is a good place to pick up some power though.

Please help me understand how this adds power. Honda would have done it already, I would think.

ya thats why honda used headers instead of the cast manifold

That spacers different.
Wrong place to try to gain manifold volume.

i realize this is just speculation but what ur not getting is this would change the design and maybe the out come ... im suggesting that we might try a stock manifold ... scalberts spacer design ... and an '09 lid thus having 2 sets of butterflies now when they open there wouldnt be a stack to the added volume ... it would all be exposed

If you were able to slice the top of the manifold off and added material to increase the manifolds height that would be the best way to gain your volume and still keep the flat cover.

best way to gain on the stock manifold design would be plenum spacers or Somesort of custom work to the tb neck of the manifold.
Have you tryied messing with runner lenth or taking material out of the inside of the manifold ?

I see but, what are you trying to compare ?
The porting of the upper ?
Do you have any pics of the port job to the inner manifold ?
Did you take all the weight you could inside the manifold out to increase volume?
because even thou I did mine,I think their is more that could come out.
I will start busting out more pics when my car is up perfectly again. When I am moving forward with the car.

I'm not trying to take anything from you.
I like seeing new stuff because the maker is the Ginni pig for the rest of us.
