Yeah the new type S can smoke the stangs guys...i have beaten 3 or the new GT's stock aginst stock and have also beaten a 98 with a chip, exhaust, and intake. They can even held my own on a rollin start aginst a roush..from dead start i just smoked the tired off it. now that i got an intake on mine the stangs shouldn't be too hard any more..only thing that sucks is that acura has stopped makin these bad ass cars.

 

Only stang i've raced is a 94 GT 5.0 and it really wasn't close... All I have is a intake.. The stang driver was really suprised.. All he said was "what is that thing?"-car is debadged and "is that a freakin turbo?" Nope sorry buddy..

our cls will run good against if not beat any mustang from 86 to 98..... and if u catch a 99- 03 mustang in the wrong gear we have a chance but the 99 -03 stangs will win 99% of the time
