Installed the passenger side today bolted right up no problem at all reverse tilt, heat & all adjustment retained.

 

looks good. I hated the black bottom.

All functions still there. Heat, movement etc!







There was a small electrical connector on both sides, on the passenger side I took 5 minutes making sure I was not leaving something unattached.

Before I pulled the driver side I was sure it was for the seat/mirror memory. NOPE.

It was unattached on the driver side when I opened it & the memory connector is totally different.

The only option on my car was NAV & I have it.

Anyone know what it could be for?

 

i read the topic and first thought it meant you did a port and polish to your mirror....

I figured it out,

I have Infinity tweeters, it is for the oem tweeters.

DOH!

 

nice to know its PNP as i suspected.
my car is black so i dont mind the black bottoms but i want the tinted mirror and smaller case. I heard it reduces wind noise right?

 

Really? Everything I read said it wouldn't fit. The pillar wasn't the same & the connectors would need to be spliced?

 

what have you been reading? i thought everyone knew they were p&p.

 

I read several places it would not & posted a thread a while back asking & got both answers.

I figured worst case I'd fix a rattle in my passenger door & sell them.

I fixed the rattle & got the mirrors, WIN-WIN!

I really like them.
