Unhappy '03 CL Type S Automatic electrical issues

My 2003 CL Type S was in perfect condition when I got it. But now my back running lights and dash lights do not work! also my power locks and my key fob. I switched it from a double den stereo to a single and had some guy I know install the stereo dash kit (to fill in the empty space around the deck) and somehow he did something to the wires and when I drove it aftwerwards smoke started coming from my stereo and the passenger side floor board! Then it began honking non-stop. I pulled over and right away I kinda ripped out the plastic cubby thing that the guy put in, also he didn't install it correctly and it looked super lame. I then proceeded to unplug the stereo deck and then disconnected the battery to stop the honking. The smoke stopped of course and I plugged in my battery real quick to see if the honking stopped, which it didn't so i unplugged again, removed horn relay from fuse box under hood, and plugged battery back in. BUT NOW my tail lights (running lights) and the lights on my dash board do not work, and my headlights do not turn off unless car is off, as well as my power locks and my key fob are out of order now. I still have the stereo unplugged and there are a couple wires behind it that are noticeable melted. I should also mention that I once tried installing my stereo on my own without unplugging the positive cable from my battery and blew a fuse in the box on the passenger side by the door hinge that did cause the same exact issues. I replaced it and all was fine. This time the fuse is fine so it must be the wires that melted. Anyone have a clue? Please & Thank you!

It's really hard to diagnose what is going on without being there to see what all was done. Electrical stuff is tricky. I would send it back to who ever did all this wiring and have them either fix it or get a refund.

back lights and dash are on the same fuse and it's under the driver's side.
