03' CL-S Stock vs. I35 modded?
Hey, a friend of mine wants to race me in my new car, but he says he gettin like 305 WHP (w/o that chip, but he is installing it tomorrow)!
His 2002 I35 stock is 3.5L 255hp w/ like 240TQ, but he added:
Hooker dual exhust system
outake/intake
racing chip to be installed increased liter size by .5
MSD ignition
Do I have a chance? heh

Yea, I asked him the same about the chip, I was surprised a chip could possbily do that. I don't know what a MSD ingition is, but are u sure its not out? He said he dynoed a 2 weeks ago and has around 300whp (w/o chip installed), he's kinda a flaky guy and could be lying. He said he is going to buy a turbo once he gets more $$

Yea, he sounded like he was b.s.ing me. I guess that 300whp is a lie unless he is spraying (which he said he wasn't). Would I have any problems w/ a I/E modded '02 I35?

There's no chip, and obviously has no idea what a chip does if he says it increases displacement.
WTF is an outake?? Headers? Exhaust?
That car is NOT dynoed at 305HP without a large nitrous shot or major engine work.
