02 Sensor Question

I swapped the complete 03 CL-S6 drivetrain (Engine, Tranny, ECU) into my 02 TL-P.

I've been using the O2 Sensor from my 02 TL-P for a while. I just switched over to the O2 sensor from the CL-S6, which immediately gave me a O2 sensor CEL code. (P0135)

Should I bother getting a new CL-S6 O2 sensor, or is the TL-P sensor close enough?

Primary O2? What brand? I remember hearing our car doesn't like some brands.

OEM on both, and they are different part numbers and have different color tubing.

I think the 02 TL-P sensor is doing a good job with the 03 CL-S6 ECU and engine.

Obviously I'm talking about the primary, who cares about the secondary lol

Why has no one tried to upgrade to the tl 07 and up ecu? It uses both of the o2 sensors to get better fuel trims through the entire power band and is mainly why the tl had 270 hp vs our cls a year back with 252. I think the only other difference were cams... But that may be the tls motor I cannot remember.

I asked my mechanic a few yrs back and he said for the trouble it's not worth it. But if u were going to swap in another motor, I think it would be a viable way to make the car faster than it ever could be without the ecu swap. To make the switch u need the ecu, o2 sensors and wiring harness for the entire car.. More than I would do for power, but the are plenty of you on here that are more hardcore than myself so it still may appeal to many of you aziners

Now that the tl is almost a decade old I am sure one could stumble across the needed parts out of a donor for 5 bills.... In the USA lol. Not for us Canucks

The 07 ECU would require a second gen j series engine, which would mean a completely different setup. You would have to custom fit a new Cluster and everything. I'd rather just get an AEM EMS 2 and tune for nitrous.
