the most pleasent kill i have ever recieved. 30-115 about a buslength or 3.
70-115 about 5 cars maybe 6. the mercedes isn't stock though. i have seen it run a 10.9 in valdosta ga. so i don't really feel that bad.

yea the E series are not that fast, my sister has an 06 e500 and from experience i rather stick with my 01 CLS

 

theres a girl round my way that drives an e55 amg... mommy and daddy probly bought it, but hot chick drivin a hot car

The E55s are monsters in stock form, and he knows this ones running a 10.9 quarter mile. Thats better than an Enzo can do a quarter mile run.

 

It's not fast? It's one of the fastest cars they make. Runs 12s stock. About 12.5 I believe, I guess that's not a fast car. How many family cars you know that runs 12s stock?

i m not talking about the E55 amg, i m talking about the E500, go test drive it for yourself.

 

There is no way a CL-S will take on an E55 AMG! Even if the CLS is supercharged it will still have a bitch of a time with an E55. The E500 still has a V8 with 302 for hp and rus 5.9 0-60. So yeah if you have some bolt ons you can take out an E500. The 469 hp monster is just what it is - a MONSTER!!

 

Seen the E55 run at the track plenty of times with the best time I recall was a 11.8 at 112 mph. It was crazy

oh yeah it's the black one. i don't know what was up with the board at the finish line. but the silver one was running mid 11's.

 

I did and I have to say that I kind of agree; it's not as quick as I thought it'd be. As a matter of fact, the E350 I drove felt almost as quick.

 

It's not built to be fast. Why would they make it just as fast as the amg model when the amg model is 20k more almost? It could probably be faster but they don't want to take sales away from someone who wants the E55. The amg models are the sports models of all the benzs' out there.

oh, i wasn't responding to ne 1 specifically. just wanted to get some facts straight

 

Stock is slow??? I don't know any other sedans that can run that fast bone stock out of the factory.... swap a pulley, put on some stickies and you'll be deep in the 11's... that seems pretty fast to me!

 

yea ummm the e55 amg and the bmw m5 (not counting the new m6) are the quickest sadans in the world in their class so um yea they are kinda fast....look it up if you dont believe me it was on car and driver mag.

 

when i said slow, i was refering to the e500, etc.. not talkin about amg's!!

i was on the highway and one of these flew by me,

when we got off the freeway... we went from a 20 roll and he put about 1 buslength before i shut it down

then when i rolled up to the window i looked down and saw the V8 compressor badge and said "oh" and the dude laughed but then said "i like your car man" and i said hey "i'll be there someday" and pointed to his e55

 

sounds like a cool ass dude. most likely a middle-aged guy to just say he likes your car. i wouldn't going up against one of those and being wasted.
