i drove a 745li the other day, no where near as quick as my car, u can really feel the weight, it just feels like it dont keep a constant pull through 2nd gear, i wonder if the smaller 745i is any quicker

yeah ut isnt yours a six speed modded darrin? Mine is almost a stock auto. Also I say they shine up top, the V8 is an autobhan monster and so was the previous 740il

those heavy v8 are not to fast from 0-80... but try one from 100+, u will see what the v8 is made of
