just curious a race between a stock 01 CLS and a stock 03 up accord v6, who's gonna win?

 

depends on what accord I guess ...

03 v6 coupe 6 speed > 01 Cl-s

 

from what i understand a 6spd accord is almost as fast as a 6spd cl.

 

accord makes less power but then it weighs less than a CL. that's a tough one to call.

 

if it was auto vs auto i would say the CL would win.

 

should be really really close !

 

WOW this is funny... Last week When I was on my way home from the Ross Dock meet.. I came up next to a 04 accord 6 speed with from what it looked like had cat bak as well as an intake..we ran like 4 times.. and it was neck and neck 4 the most part.. one of the better races ive had... ive done better racing a g35!.. I look at it as a g35 racing a Z.. imo

 

my sister has an 03 V6 accord (auto) ...compared to her...

CL-S > V6 Accord

but it does have some balls

 

i was on my way home last friday night, 2 lanes, 3 cars waiting for lights, me and the accord left , some other at the right . the accord v6 sedan in front of me was like a grandma, so i changed to the right, cut the accord, and stayed at right around 80mph, i saw accord was chasing me down, i knew i could not make it, so let the pedel go........

 

I played around back when I had my 04 AT TL with an accord V6 coupe 6 speed. Even down by 30hp, with less weight also we were dead even several times 55-80mph...
