yesterday i was on the pennsylvania turnpike on my way home, it was a really nice day so i thought id open it up a bit. so im crusing at a nice 130mph and i blow past this TL i look in my rearview and i see him gun it but i going so fast he couldn't catch up. then we hit a little traffic but i put some moves down and bounce throught it and i lose him and im thinking thats that. i get of at the willow grove exit and next thing i know i look in my rearview and hes riding my ass so i then i knew it was on. he then proceeds to blow past me so now im tailing him to the next light. we pull up next to each other and he revs a little, it sounded like my may have intake or something. so the light turns green and we both hit it and wereneck and neck but as soon as my vtec kicks in i walked on him the rest of the race. my mods: aem cai and xs headers

it's the headers that got him. I raced a 3g TL from a slow roll on the highway on night and I had him through 2nd and 3rd, but once we got up to around 115/4th he walked right by.

I don't see how thats possible!!! I raced many 3rd gen TL and they never walked by me! I know you don't think there faster then the CL unless its the New TL type S! The regular 3rd gen TL is only pushing out 258hp, That 270 that they lied about is all bull shit!

I've messed with a 3G tl auto stock and I only have intake. I slowly pulled on him in 2nd and 3rd gear. I had about 3/4 car length on him by the end of 3rd.

You need to learn your facts buddy. If what they said was 270 is now 258, thats not because it was a lie, its because they changed SAE rules. So if our cars were new, our 260 would drop down to about 250hp..

So whats good for the goose is good for the gander.

A 04-06 TL i believe the CL-S has a chance but vs a 07-08 TL-S i dont think so. A CL-S puts down 210whp/180ish Torque. The new TL-S in auto puts down 245whp/220 torque and only weights 50-100 pounds more. I dont see how its possible for a CL-S to beat a new third gen TL-S.

I have a 2g TL-S and a 3g TL-S and stock for stock the 3g is faster... with all my mods on the 2g (i/h/e/p) it was just as fast as my 3g TL-S stock...
