this guy at my work has a 92 Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo.......i think he said its twin turboed......my question is to u all....do u think that i will win if i race it??? it is all stock and im sure he doesnt take the best care of it....i have aem cai...comptech exhaust and headers...i looked up its quarter mile time and it said 14.2.....but that was when it was brand new right?? i just need a lil help cuz he wants to race for a couple hundred bucks thanks alot!!

 

UH dont race, 300 hp 300tq AWD. but it does way 3800 pounds. It is the same as a 3000gt VR-4 but if its worn down it wont be making that kind of power, so give it a try. But i wouldnt put money on it.

 

I've seen them in action.. although they are not as nice as the real VR4, but the AWD still give the the edge over the CLS.

Dont race him. Twin turbo Stealth/3000GT do run 14.0-14.4 at 99-101 with an average driver STOCK. Some has gone high 13's stock with good 60ft(AWD helps). Even from a roll ur car should be trapping 100 or so to be even with a stock one. U can compare it more to a stock LT1, E36 M3 with(chip, exhaust), stock mustang Bullitt, 350Z. If he wanted to do it for fun without money go for it and tell us what happens.

 

AWD and all that TQ it has! he will have space for errors you won't ..... you better get the best (lauch, shift!!!) and you still might lose.

 

Do not bet $$$$ on this race. You will lose. VR4/Stealth TT's are easily in the 13's stock, some as fast as 13.50-13.60. From a roll you'd have a chance, from a stop you're toast.
