So I asked if he could find a "distributor" that has them in stock. He called me the next day "today" and said yes, I found them. I asked where and he said that he didnt know, but sent me an email back saying that I needed to give him my credit card # and he would order them. Needless to say I didnt get a very warm-fuzzy feeling from this and I am looking for someone who has these "IN STOCK" that I can purchase them from. Not bashing anyone at all, just doesnt feel right to me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Rich, this is Carlos.
I e-mail you telling you who had the headers instock with there phone number!

Wheels West & Accessories has them.

When I told you that I need it your credit card information was to order the headers, because you called me saying that you are from Honda Engineering North America Inc.
12500 Meranda Road
Anna, Ohio 45302

I thought you wanted to be set up as a distributor.
Also you wanted me to sponsor you car, but how would you want me to sponsor you, When you did get a warm fuzzy. All I was doing is trying to help you out, and I get this response.

Carlos,
Sorry about the confusion. Seems as if we got some phonecalls/emails crossed up. I guess I was not speciific enough on how I wanted to purchase them and it threw me for a loop when you asked me to email my credit card # to you. I did however get the email you sent stating that Wheels/Wheels had them in stock, thanks. Once again, sorry about the confusion.
If anyone is interested in dealing with Alpha Werks/Nexus Industries I would highly recommend it, Carlos took a situation that wasnt his fault and handled it in a very professional manor. There's not too many people that would have been as polite over the phone and and still be willing to help.

Thanks.

Thanks for the info Red...

Another quick question...I'm not too familiar with the CARB legal stuff and how it all goes down.....

If you have a a part, such as these headers that are not CARB legal, will you fail the smog for sure or just means that if a cop looks under your hood and doesnt see the CARB legal tag that you get a fix-it or something.
Cause I dont mind purchasing the headers if not CARB legal, but I would just hate to go thru the crap of removing them and putting back OEM to do the smog test.

I've spoken to Carlos at Nexus Industries and it seems the next shipment will be arriving late October, early November. It seems though that whatever price those early buyers got off of eBay will not be allowed. I have to verify what the price will be.

its not bad the heat is doing that to the headers, i thought it would take alittle longer for it to bronze out

Silver to Bronze to Blue.

The excessive heat causes this.

It doesn't mean it's running too hot.

Just the normal heat from the engine is enought to change the color of the headers.

By the way I just now revved the car without headers and intake (intake was on before) and the rev is noticeably louder and the tone change makes it sound amazing...I really like it now as compared to before with the sound of the intake when revving.

The place that installed my AW headers said that leaking is possible since no matter how tight at the shop they tighten it, it can still get lose and leak. He said its probably would not happen at all and to not worry about, but I would like to know, if my headers were leaking how would I know this? Does it negatively effect gas mileage? Would I hear a really loud hissing sound (which is hard to identify because of my AEM intake)...I would just like to check on it once in a while to make sure everything is okay and no leaking is going on.

I just installed a set of AW Headers... fitment was just fine! I don't think the SS tubing is of the same quality as Comptech, but its a much better bang-for-the-buck. Funny thing... if you buy headers for $300 and you get 30hp... that's $10/hp

I just got my A.W. headers installed this past Saturday by Allmotor_2000. Everything fitted perfectly (except for the small ring gasket that goes on the y pipe connecting to the rest of the exhaust system [was too small]). However, high temperature gasket sealer was used and all is fine.

At first the car idled rough, especially when the car was cold. But all seems to be going back to normal the more I drive it. I guess the computer is adjusting to the mod.

It seems as if though I have more of a longer and stronger pull in all gears, I guess because of the little extra ponies freed up.

The exhaust note is just a little raspier especially at WOT. Other that that, the exhaust sounds pretty much stock. I can also slightly hear the gases pass throught the exhaust system at WOT.

I have pictures, and will post later on tonigh, latest tomorrow possibly on cardomain.com.

Allmotor_2000's turbo setup is awsome. He said he can pull 550 H.P. with 100 octaine fuel.
